Terms of use
Last updated 2 September 2026.
Revert is a community for people looking for work in India. It is run by Tushar Bhardwaj as an individual, not as a registered company. Using it means agreeing to what is below. If you do not, please do not use it — that is the whole of the deal.
Who can join
You need to be 18 or older, and you need one account rather than several. You sign in with Google or an email address; there is no phone number involved at any point. The username you pick is how everyone here knows you, so it cannot impersonate somebody else or a company.
What you write here
Your messages stay yours. Posting them here gives Revert permission to show them to the room they were posted in, and to keep showing them — that is the point of a room where nothing scrolls away.
Closing your account does not delete what you already posted. Replies underneath a question stop making sense without it, and a room that loses a thread every time somebody leaves is a worse record for everyone still here. Your messages stay, attributed to “Deleted account” rather than to the name you used.
What not to do
Do not post fake openings, ask anybody here for money in exchange for a job, or sell referrals. Do not scrape the room, and do not use anything anybody says here to contact them for something they did not ask for.
Selling a referral is worth naming separately: most employers forbid it outright, and the person who gave it can lose their own job over it. Asking for one is welcome. Charging for one is not.
A paid project listing is held to the same rules as anything else posted here. If it turns out to be a scam, or the link stops going where it said it would, the listing comes off the page and the money goes back.
Anything posted can be removed and any account can be suspended, without notice, where it breaks the above. That decision is mine and I will explain it if you ask.
What is free and what is not
Joining, reading, asking and answering are free, and are meant to stay that way. Some things are sold alongside it — my time, a room of curated openings, and a spot on the projects page. Those are extras; none of them is a condition of using the room. What each one costs, and what happens if you want your money back, is on the refunds page.
What this is not
Revert is not a recruiter, a placement agency, or your employer. Nothing here is a guarantee of a job, an interview, or a reply. Openings are collected from public sources and from what members post; they are not verified, and neither are the companies behind them. Check anything before you act on it, and never pay anybody for a job offer.
Advice you get from other members is theirs, not mine. People here are generous and often right, and they are still strangers on the internet.
Availability
This runs on a server bill paid by one person. It can be slow, it can break, and it can be taken down. There is no uptime promise, and no liability for anything you lose by relying on it — including an opening you did not see because a notification did not arrive.
Changes and disputes
These terms can change. When they do, the date at the top changes with them. If a change matters, it will be said in the room rather than left for you to find.
Indian law applies, and the courts of the operator’s city have jurisdiction. Before any of that, write to tusharbhardwaj2617@gmail.com — almost everything is a misunderstanding that one email fixes.
