The short version: Revert never asks for your phone number, does not sell anything about you, and does not run ads. What follows is the long version, which is what a policy is for.
What is collected
To sign you in: your email address, and whatever Google tells us if you use Google. Handled by Clerk, who manage the sign-in. There is no password stored here.
Because you typed it: your username, display name, and anything optional you chose to add — a headline, an about, a company, a college, a location, links to your other profiles, a picture. All of it is optional except the username, and all of it is visible to other members. That is what it is for.
Because you used the room: your messages, reactions, poll votes, which rooms you are in, and roughly when you were last active. You can turn last-active off in your profile, and turning it off also stops you seeing it for anybody else.
If you turn notifications on: a push subscription from your browser. Deleted the moment you turn them off, or when your account closes.
If you buy something: what you bought and Razorpay’s record of the payment. Card numbers never reach this server — Razorpay handles the payment and only reports the outcome.
Who else can see it
Other members see your profile and your messages. Nothing you post in a room is private, and messages are not end-to-end encrypted — assume anybody in that room can read them, because they can.
The services this runs on, each doing one job:
- Clerk — sign-in.
- Supabase — the database and live updates. Hosted in Mumbai, so your data stays in India.
- Vercel — the server itself, also running in Mumbai.
- Razorpay — payments, if you buy something.
- Sentry — errors, so breakage gets found. It records what went wrong and which account hit it.
- Telegram — job posts are forwarded to a public channel. Only the opening, never who posted it.
Nobody buys this data, because it is not for sale. It is handed over only where the law requires it.
What you can do about it
Everything optional can be edited or emptied from your profile at any time. You can stop people tagging you, stop people replying to you, hide when you were last active, and turn off each kind of notification separately.
You can delete your account from your profile, and it does what it says: the profile, the picture, the email and the sign-in go, every room membership goes, and the username is released for anybody to use again. Your messages stay, as the terms explain, shown as “Deleted account”. A record of anything you paid for is kept because it is a receipt, with your contact details stripped out of it.

Cookies and age
Only what signing in needs — a session so you are not asked to log in on every page. No advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to click.
This is for people 18 and over. If you believe somebody younger has an account, tell me and it will be closed.
Changes
If this changes, the date at the top changes too, and anything that actually affects you will be said in the room rather than quietly edited in.
